BudgetBasket has no login and no user account. Almost everything BudgetBasket knows lives on your own device, and you can remove it yourself at any time. A small amount of anonymous usage data sits on our servers under a random session identifier (never your name or email) — you can ask us to delete that too. This page explains both, in line with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Because there is no account, the data BudgetBasket stores is kept on your device. Clearing your browser or app storage permanently removes all of it:
How: on Android, long-press the BudgetBasket icon → App info → Storage → Clear data. In a browser, open Settings and clear site data for budgetbasket.co.in. This wipes everything above immediately.
We keep a small log of anonymous usage events (for example, a search run or a comparison completed), attached only to a random session identifier — there is no name, email, or account to look you up by. To have this removed, email us:

Because the data isn't linked to your identity, please include your anonymous client ID if you can, so we can locate and remove the matching rows. We acknowledge within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, then confirm by email.
BudgetBasket does not collect or store an account, email address, name, delivery address, or price-drop alert subscription — so there is nothing of that kind to delete. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of what is and isn't collected.
The following may be retained, but it is either fully anonymised (with no link to you) or required by law:
